We've designed the quintessential work shirt. Think a sharp collared neckline with permanent collar stays, long sleeves with adjustable cuffs, back pleats for room to move and a comfortable regular fit. And now, the Avignon Fine Check Long Sleeve Shirt offers a fresh take in a cool navy colourway spliced with sharp white checks. The design is stamped across a new durable yet breathable fabric, which forms part of our sustainable range. It has been mindfully made using PET bottles spun into a recycled polyester yarn, combined with luxurious cotton and elastane for stretch. Team with chinos for a more relaxed spin on tailoring.

How to use the size chart

Open the Size Chart. Determine if the product uses body or garment measurements. The parameters used can identify this. They are garment measurements if the measurements are in halves, like half chest or half waist. If they are simply waist or chest, then they are body measurements.

Body Measurements

Neck body measurement

A. NECK

Remember, make allowance for comfort. Ask a friend to measure around your neck at collar level. This measurement is your shirt size.

Chest body measurement

B. CHEST

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level and straight. Keep one finger between the tape and the body.

Hips body measurement

C. HIPS

Measure around the waist, keeping one finger between the tape and the body. Over your shirt (not trousers), be in the position you would normally wear your trousers.

Garment Measurements

Pick a similar garment that you already own that fits you well. Lay the garment out on a flat surface and start measuring.

Collar garment measurement

A. COLLAR

Measure along the collarstand from the centre of the button to the edge of the buttonhole

B. HALF CHEST

Measure across the chest, side seam to side seam, 2cm below where the sleeve joins the body of the garment.

Tops Size Chart

C. LENGTH OR CENTRE BACK

Measure the top of the neckline down to the bottom hem along the centre of the back.
