DNC Workwear Hi Vis FR HRC2 Day/Night Rain Jacket (3467)

Fully seam sealed, HRC2 - ATPV: 8+cal/cm2. 2 way radio loops on front shoulders, storm flap at centre front with SBS 7# Vislon 2 way heavy duty zipper/plastic slider; detachable zip off hood with SBS 5# Vislon zipper. Elastic cuffs with adjustable sleeve tab and touch tape closure. Twin waist pockets with flap and touch tape closure. Hoop Pattern Bio-Motion "ANS UL-209 FR" Segmented FR Reflective Tape (50 Washes) on body and sleeves. 2 Tone front only.

  • SUN Protection UPF 50+ - DNC garments are tested for UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) in accordance with AS/NZS4399:1996. The level of protection varies depending on the fabric and colour of the garment. 15+ good protection, 30+ / 35+ very good protection, 40+ / 50+ excellent protection
  • Hi Vis - DNC Hi Vis fabric and reflective tape are manufactured to comply with the New Hi Vis standard Class F (AS/NZS1906.4:2010).
  • Hi Vis Day Only - Class D. Day only garments are developed to be worn during the daytime only and never at night. (AS/NZS 4602.1:2011/Admdt2:2020)
  • Waterproof & Breathable - Utilises the latest fabric technology. Not only are they waterproof, but also fully breathable.
  • Carbon grid Anti-static - The latest technology is used in the production of DNC Flame retardant + Carbon grid Anti-static 98% Polyester/PU, 2% Carbon, breathable waterproof fabric rain jacket, vest & pants. DNC cotton garments containing no metal buttons/zip are also classified under Anti-static garments. (Complies with EN ISO 14116:2008 for FR & BS EN1149-5:2008 for Anti-static).
  •  Electrical Protection - Cotton made garments containing no metal buttons or zippers and are suitable for use in electrical or gas trades.
  • ISO 14116:2015 (FR) - prescribes the performance criteria for material assemblies and protective clothing to minimise the risk of clothing igniting when exposed to small flames during short and intermittent contact, thereby minimising the potential hazard.
  • ISO 11612:2015 (FR) - This clothing aims to shield the wearer from splashes of molten metal, brief exposure to flames, radiant heat from electric arcs, and hazards related to welding and similar activities. It also provides limited protection against electrical shock during short-term contact with live electrical conductors of around 100 volts (Note: Sweat, soiling, or other contaminants can impact the level of protection).
  • NENS09:2014 - Selected by Energy Networks Australia, use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used to protect people against electrical arc hazards within the Electricity Supply Industry. The recommended minimum ATPV for base garments is PPE (HRC 1) -- 4cal/cm2, and all opening/buttons/press studs/zippers are been covered by FR fabric. PPE2 ATPV: 8+ caI/cm2 - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an important line of defense in arc flash safety. NFPA 70E:2018 standard uses four categories of PPE, with each category including the minimum Arc Rating value for the required PPE.
